Belgium will play France for a spot in the World Cup final, and some of their star plays from the quarter finals have been given upgrades in FIFA 18’s World Cup mode.

For Belgium, Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne have had their stats boosted, while Raphael Varane and Antoine Griezmann are the French players to get the upgrade.

The highlight of the bunch is Hazard, who’s a centre forward now rated at 93 overall. He ran the show at times against Brazil, and he now has 93 pace, 96 dribbling, 89 shooting, and 91 passing.

His Belgian teammate De Bruyne isn’t far behind, rated at 92 overall. He’s got 81 pace, 92 dribbling, 91 shooting, 93 passing, and 82 physical, with 4 star skills and a 5 star weak foot.

France’s Varane will be a great 87 rated option at the CB position, with 88 pace, 89 defending, and 85 physical. He’s even got the added bonus of 73 dribbling if you want to get a bit adventurous from the back.

Griezmann’s upgrade isn’t quite as good as Hazard’s, but he’ll still be scary in attack. He’s rated at 91 overall, with 90 pace, 91 dribbling, 91 shooting, and 87 passing. He’s got 4 star skill moves, but only a 3 star weak foot.

Brazil’s Marcelo sneaks in to the upgrade list despite the loss. He was the man who looked like getting Brazil back into the game at times with his runs down the left flank.

He’s rated at 89 overall, with 84 pace, 91 dribbling, 75 shooting, 87 defending, 86 passing, and 86 physical. Very nice overall stats, and his total in game stats are actually the highest of the bunch.

Today, England faces Sweden, and Russia take on Croatia. Let us know your predictions for the Man of the Match upgrades from these crucial quarter final matches.
