England fans are taking over Volgograd, soaking up the atmosphere in scorching 30 degree head ahead of their side’s World Cup opener against Tunisia

The St George’s Cross can be seen everywhere and excitement levels are ratcheting up ahead of kick off.  

England are likely to be cheered on by the smallest following at a World Cup in recent history.

Tunisian supporters have also been out in force and mixing amicably with their Group G rivals.  

It seems the travelling support are fully embracing what the host nation has on offer, with some fans wearing the traditional fur hats.
