- England team continue World Cup preparations with shooting drills on Tuesday
- Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Danny Welbeck refined their finishing skills in training

The Tottenham duo were joined by Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck on the St George’s Park training ground before heading to the gym for a strength and conditioning session under the watchful eye of Gareth Southgate.
It looked to be a rather informal affair at their training centre, but preparations will soon ramp up ahead of Saturday’s friendly against Nigeria, their final match at Wembley before heading to Russia for the World Cup.

The friendly, which will be followed by another against Costa Rica at Elland Road on June 7, will act as an opportunity for Southgate to get an idea of his starting XI ahead of the tournament.
Kane, as captain, is one of the few players assured of his place while there is still no decision on who England’s No 1 is going to be. Jack Butland, Jordan Pickford or Nick Pope all have a chance to claiming the coveted spot between now and June 18.
There was little the squad could do to impress Southgate in the gym as they headed inside to complete a session with the state-of-the-art weights under the watchful eye of personal trainers.
