England‘s World Cup WAGs have spent the day trying to lift their partners’ spirits with theme parks, luxury hotels and meals at swanky restaurants following the team’s disappointing semi-final defeat last night.
Jamie Vardy’s wife Rebekah, 36, and Harry Maguire’s fiancée Fern Hawkins both shared snaps revealing they had left Moscow for St Petersburg following the Three Lions’ 2-1 loss to Croatia.
Mother-of-four Rebekah posted an Instagram story showing how she had spent the afternoon relaxing by the river in the picturesque Russian city.
Meanwhile Maguire and childhood sweetheart Miss Hawkins spent the day exploring with his family – ending with a meal at the same beachfront restaurant where Fern enjoyed a WAGs’ night out two weeks ago.

The carefree snaps are a far-cry from the images taken of the crestfallen England squad – and manager Gareth Southgate – as they collapsed to the pitch in the moments after the final whistle last night.
Many of the players soon made their way into the stands to seek consolation from their loved ones and it was the role of their families to try and cheer them up today.
Maguire and Miss Hawkins are understood to have travelled to St Petersburg with the rest of the Maguire family by train – with a post from the footballer’s sister Daisy revealing they were up shortly after 5am to make the journey.

The group checked into the four-star Parklane Resort and Spa after arriving into the city at around 9.30am.
Shortly after Miss Hawkins, who became engaged to Leicester City ace Maguire in February, shared a playful selfie taken in her hotel room mirror.
The glamorous brunette snapped herself pouting and posing as she bared her toned midriff in a crop top and trendy army green trousers.
The Maguire clan later headed out to local attraction Divo Ostrov, which is described as an ‘amusement park with classic and extreme rides, a ferris wheel & boating lake, plus kids’ activities’.
Carefree: Maguire appeared relaxed as he looked through the menu at Sunday Ginza
Snaps shared on Miss Maguire and Miss Hawkins’ Instagram accounts – where they boast 8,700 and 17,000 followers, respectively – suggest they let their hair down on the ferris wheel and a rather twisty roller coaster.
The Maguires appeared to take in the sunset at the boating lake, with Fern sharing a snap of the beauty spot.
The day ended with a meal at high-end eatery Sunday Ginza, situated on a beach.

It might have been a suggestion by Miss Hawkins, who made headlines when she joined fellow WAGs including Mrs Vardy for a meal there – and ended up partying until the early hours of the following day.
