The hearts of the nation were broken as the brave England side lost in the World Cup semi-final on Wednesday.

And Love Island couple Jessica Shears and Dom Lever were showing their support for the England team beforehand as they watched the tense match with Kendall Rae Knight at Menagerie Bar and Restaurant in Manchester on Wednesday night.

Jess was throwing her support behind the squad with a ‘It’s coming home’ slogan T-shirt in white and red.

The reality star teamed her top with a black cut-off miniskirt and a pair of lace-up trainers.

Dom was equally casually clad in a simple white T-shirt and a pair of ripped jeans.

Meanwhile, Kendall showcased her long legs and her villa tan as she paraded around in her plaid scarlet and white mini skirt.

The dumped Islander threw a bright floral garland around her neck to bring a flirty vibe to her stylish ensemble.

Love Island’s Kendall kept her look very glamorous with heavy make-up and she wore her brunette locks in soft curls.

England fans were left heartbroken as the national side crashed out of the tournament in a 2-1 defeat to Croatia, after the match went into extra time.

A bold free kick from Kieran Trippier put the Lions ahead in the fifth minute, sparking fresh hope the team were headed for their second World Cup final since 1966.

But Ivan Perisic flicked home a cross with an outstretched boot to make it 1-1 in the 68th minute to level up the playing field, and increase speculation they could be headed for penalties once more.

The tense match went into extra time, with Croatia turning up the heat.

Striker Mario Mandzukic lashed the ball into the net in the 68th minute, following an erratic defence display from England and ended their World Cup dreams, and the hopes of a nation.

Croatia will now face France in the World Cup final on Sunday.

The England players were seen to be in tears as the final whistle blew, with manager Gareth Southgate rushing onto the pitch to console his team.

England have appeared in a final only once, in 1966 when Germany were defeated 4-2 at Wembley thanks to a hat-trick from Geoff Hurst.
