Zlatan Ibrahimovic has not ruled out making a sensational return for Sweden at this summer’s World Cup and is continuing to hint at a potential comeback.

The veteran striker retired from international football after Euro 2016 but has been tempted to return to the side after they secured their place in Russia with a play-off win over Italy.

And he has dropped the biggest hint yet that he will pull on Sweden colours for one last hurrah.

His potential return to the national side is the subject of an advert for BetHard, where Ibrahimovic finds himself at a tattoo parlour.

He is asked what the odds of him making Sweden’s 23-man squad for the finals are, replying ‘sky high’.

But then he appears to go back on his words, insisting that ‘high odds mean no chance.’

It comes after he tweeted on Sunday to say his chances were ‘sky high’.

The 36-year-old is building up his fitness after fully recovering form a serious knee injury suffered in Manchester United’s Europa League quarter-final win over Anderlecht a year ago.

It cut short his debut season in England and confined to making only seven appearances in his second.

After leaving Old Trafford for MLS in March he has scored three goals in three games for LA Galaxy.
